Modeling Workshop | Group 1 will be held on the first Sunday of every month. Time slots will be personally assigned to each Model based on the number of attendees per group per workshop. (Plan to designate the entire day for these sessions.)

• March 4, 2018 - CLOSED | Intro Class & Contemporary Portraiture Session

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: CLOSED

This intro class is recommended for everyone interested in our modeling sessions. Attendees will all arrive at the same time for this session. We will introduce ourselves, cover rules, service contracts, and model releases. Attendees will then move into hair, makeup, and the session itself. Tora Anne uses a contemporary portrait session to learn about each person, find their strengths and weaknesses, and familiarize each model with her shooting and posing techniques.

If you want the most out of your portraiture with Tora Anne, we highly recommend you make this class.

• April 8, 2018 -CLOSED | Headshots

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: CLOSED

Building on what you learned in the intro class, Tora Anne will provide you with guidance and assistance throughout your session while you gain valuable instruction and portfolio worthy images. The main purpose of a headshot is for identification purposes. Photographers, creatives, agencies, and other employers want images that accurately represent the model and his/her's features. This is extremely important when hiring a model for a concept or job that requires specific features.

• May 6, 2018 | Fashion

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: CLOSED

This genre ranges from editorial, catalog, and high fashion. Here, unusual clothing, oversized accessories, and exaggerated poses are all put together to create a number of intriguing images. Students will have the chance to choose from this list and put their own spin on it. (Street photography is currently not an option.)

• June 3, 2018 | Personal Branding

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: May 27th @ 11:59 pm CST

Every portfolio should include images that represent the model and his/her's interests. This session will be customized based on each attendee.

• July 1, 2018 | Beauty

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: June 24th @ 11:59 pm CST

Who doesn't love edgy and visually striking images? Here, models will work with the creative team to create and execute unusual looks with the use of makeup and props in order to create stunning magazine-style images.

FAQ - PLEASE READ!

Can I bring a friend?
Due to the custom nature of this workshop, all attendees must purchase their own ticket. If you would like to schedule a no commitment pre-consultation before signing up, please feel free to CONTACT US.

Will food and drinks be provided?
We will have plenty of hydrating drinks on hand. We recommend that you eat before arriving and bring along any snacks that you may need during your visit. 

Is a wardrobe provided?
No. Wardrobe will be the Model's responsibility. We will provide detailed suggestions based on each upcoming session. We always encourage our clients to help each other and borrow from friends and family before purchasing new wardrobe items.

How many images will I receive?
Two finished portraits are included in every session. Three weeks after each workshop, models will be individually presented with their top 5 images. You will get to pick your two favorites and have the option to purchase the remaining portraits if you desire.

The cost to purchase additional portraits is as follows:

• First Image | Included at no additional cost.
• Second Image | Included at no additional cost.
• Third Image | $100
• Fourth Image | $75
• Fifth Image | $50
• All 5 Images | $225

How will I receive my images?
After you have chosen your image(s) you will receive your files via Dropbox. You will receive two copies of each image. One for social media and the other for gift printing. All images created and received are meant for personal and portfolio use only. Images cannot be used for financial gain or entered into contests and magazines.

Do you provide transportation?
No. Transportation is the responsibility of the attendees. In the event that the classes are held on-location, carpooling is highly recommended. Depending on the location, parking can be scarce and become difficult to navigate.

What are my parking options?
Our home-based studio is located at 4652 East Ehren Lane, Fair Grove, MO. All attendees will be asked to park in the large gravel lot on the property.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket/receipt to the event?
We highly suggest that you bring your ticket/receipt with you.

Do you offer childcare?
At this time, we do not provide childcare for our attendees. Children are required to remain at home with family or with a babysitter during your session.

Can a parent be present?
If the model is 17 years of age and younger, it is required that they are accompanied by a parent/guardian. If the minors become nervous or distracted by their relatives, parent's will be asked to sit just outside of their child's view while remaining in the room. The space in our styling area and the studio is very limited. No more than one parent can attend. No other relatives may be present.

What is the cancellation policy?
Time is valuable to everyone involved in making these workshops possible. Due to the nature of these events and production costs, a refund after the cancellation deadline will not be available.

Can I make up a missed session?
Whether you have committed to the full 6-month workshop or have purchased individual tickets, each attendee is only allowed to make up one session. Please keep our refund/cancellation policy (above) in mind before canceling.
